The Elites is the second level in the game, Halo The Covenant.

The level opens up in the Control Room of the Divine Ascension. R'tas congratulates him on his victory at the Brute Encampment and is tasked with retrieving Elites that had been captured by Brutes and are being interrogated. They know the location of the Phase Pulse Generators that enable Halo to fire deep into space, and without them they cannot begin the Great Journey. So far they know the Separatists are attempting to destroy them first and foremost. Abu then travels to the east side of the island that did not become destroyed by the Explosion, where the Elites are being held hostage. Abu and his allies storm a Loyalist camp and pursue a Captain who is holding them hostage. Abu and his team rescue them and are then required to get them to the Elite camp. By dawn, they have gotten to the encampment and it is then attacked by Loyalist ground forces and a Brute Chieftain. Abu has to then clear the camp of hostiles. With the Elites secure, Abu finds out that the Loyalists know the location of the generators, and are now headed there.
